You can access SIS from either a PC or a Macintosh computer. You must have an Internet connection.

Note: If you are logging in from a wireless connection or from off-campus, you must download and use the Cisco AnyConnect VPN client. The VPN, or Virtual Private Network, software will allow you to log into SIS from a remote or wireless location.

From a PC

SecureCRT is the special software required to run SIS from your desktop. SecureCRT is available for free download from the ITS software website.

NOTE: You need administrative rights to download SecureCRT. If the link is unavailable to you from the ITS software website, please email SISHelpU@usc.edu or call 213-740-5337 to request a SecureCRT download.

From a Macintosh

Terminal software, which comes with your Mac, can be used to access SIS.
