Examples (not recommendations) include wordpress.com or web design firms. Once the site is created and hosted, users can request a USC website address (also known as a URL). For information on requesting a USC website address for an externally hosted website, see itservices.usc.edu/web/hosting/usc-urls.
Any university affiliated website can have an official USC domain name (e.g. sitename.usc.edu), provided the site meets USC’s guidelines.
USC departments and organizations can request a redirect in the form www.usc.edu/sitename to any web address in the usc.edu domain.
