Call Forwarding

This feature allows you to forward both incoming internal and external calls. With call forwarding, you can send all of your calls to your cell phone (or any other phone) when you are going to be away from your desk for an extended period of time.

How you set up call forwarding on your telephone will depend on which telephone set you use. Please see the instructions below.

Setting Up Call Forwarding (Avaya 2420 and 9630)

To program and activate call fowarding:

If you are forwarding to a USC number, pick up the receiver and wait for a dial tone. Enter *10 followed by the 5-digit extension.

If you are forwarding to a line in the same area code, dial 9 followed by the telephone number. You will hear a confirmation tone.
