How-to: Licensing SPSS for Mac OS X

If you have downloaded a trial version of IBM SPSS Statistics and have now received your SPSS authorization code from ITS, follow the instructions below to license your software on the Macintosh operating system. You can also use this procedure for the annual subscription renewal for your product.

NOTE: You must be connected to the Internet to successfully complete the authorization process.

Licensing IBM SPSS Statistics

1. From the Applications folder, click IBM > SPSS > Statistics > 24 > SPSS Statistics License Authorization Wizard.
   
   
2. On the License Status screen, click Next.
   
   
3. On the Product Authorization screen, choose Authorized user license (I purchased a single copy of the product). and then click Next.
   
   
4. On the Enter Codes screen, enter the license code you received from ITS in the Enter Code: field and then click Next.
   
   
5. Once the authorization process is complete on the Internet Authorization Status screen, click Next.
   
   
6. Click Finish on the Licensing Completed screen to complete the licensing process.
