MATLAB is a high-level language and interactive computing environment that enables you to perform computationally intensive tasks faster than with traditional programming languages such as C, C++, and Fortran.

NOTE: You will need to reactivate your MATLAB software license every year on January 31. Please see the Reactivating Your MATLAB License page for instructions on how to reactivate your software license.

USC’s campuswide license includes the full suite of MATLAB academic products. To see the list of MATLAB products available to you, visit the MATLAB website.

USC faculty, students, and staff may download individual copies of the software directly from MathWorks by going to the USC MATLAB portal on the MathWorks website.
