After changing your USC NetID passphrase or when ITS updates the security certificates on our wireless networks, you will have to remove the wireless settings for the USC Secure Wireless and eduroam networks on your personal devices in order to successfully reconnect to these networks. Please follow the steps below to reset the wireless connections on your iOS, Android, Windows, or Mac devices.

iOS (iPhone/iPad)

  1. From the Home screen, go to Settings -> Wi-Fi and then tap the (i) icon to the right of USC Secure Wireless (or eduroam).
  2. Once in the USC Secure Wireless (or eduroam) settings, tap Forget This Network -> Forget, then close the Settings app.

Android

  1. From the Home screen, go to Settings -> Wi-Fi.
  2. Tap and hold on USC Secure Wireless (or eduroam) and then tap Forget.

Windows

  1. Click or tap the wireless networking icon in the system tray.
  2. Right-click/tap-hold USC Secure Wireless (or eduroam) and then click/tap Forget.
  3. After clicking/tapping Forget, click/tap somewhere else on the screen so that the list of Wi-Fi networks closes.

Mac

  1. Click the Wi-Fi icon at the top of the screen, and select Open Network Preferences.
  2. Click the Advanced button in the lower right corner.
  3. Scroll through your list of Preferred Networks until you find USC Secure Wireless (or eduroam).
  4. Click your selected network and then click the minus [-] button and then Remove.
  5. Click OK to close the list of Preferred Networks and then click Apply to apply the settings.
  6. Close the Network Preferences window.
