Faculty and Staff Email
Microsoft Office 365 is the default central email system for USC faculty and staff. USC’s Acceptable Use Policy applies to both Microsoft Office 365 and Gmail. When using email to conduct official university business, employees must use USC email exclusively.
Student Email
Google Mail is the default central email system for students.
Eligibility
- Email services and tools are available to all current USC faculty, staff, and students.
- Some schools and units administer their email systems and provide additional email accounts for their faculty and staff. For more information, contact your local IT support team.

- Email is a free service.
