The Digital Campus Charge (DCC) is designed to provide key secure communication and collaboration services and network infrastructure that meets the technological needs of USC faculty, staff, and students. With the change in technology and new tools required to work in a digital age, beginning in FY22, there is a two-tiered rate of digital (wireless) vs. connected (wired). Refer to the table below for a list of services inclusive of the Digital Tier versus the Connected Tier.

Services covered by the DCC are available to all benefits-eligible employees.

The DCC includes communication and collaboration services, network services, and supporting security software. The DCC does not include desktop computer support, international calling, cellular phones, desk phones, pagers, and new network and voice connections as part of new construction and renovations and other network-specialized services. Each of these services will be charged to the unit based on the actual cost of the service.
