Credits USC’s Tuition Assistance Benefit Program for Success
May 10 marked a significant milestone for Senior IAM Planning and Engagement Analyst Nikki Mohan as she celebrated her commencement and earned her MBA from the USC Marshall School of Business. Alongside her MBA, Nikki completed Graduate Certificates in Strategy and Management Consulting and Optimization and Supply Chain Management. This achievement is a testament to her determination, as her journey was anything but smooth.
Over the course of 63 credits, Nikki balanced full-time work, marriage, and the devastating loss of her mother to COVID-19. The challenges didn’t end there; she also faced a period of displacement due to the lockdown and the usual hurdles of being an international student. Despite these obstacles, Nikki never wavered in her commitment to her education and future.
Nikki attributes a significant part of her success to the support from USC through the Tuition Assistance Benefit (TAB) program. “I’m immensely grateful to my employer, the University of Southern California, and their Tuition Assistance Benefit program. This support made my dream a reality,” she mentioned in a recent LinkedIn post.
This support allowed her to focus on her studies without the overwhelming burden of financial stress. Nikki also extends her heartfelt gratitude to her boss and mentor, Identity and Access Management Director Darren Yamaki, Lead IAM Planning and Engagement Analyst Libby Kim, and her supportive work family, who “listened, supported, and celebrated with her every step of the way.”
Nikki’s story is a powerful reminder of what can be achieved with determination, support, and a strong belief in oneself. Congratulations, Nikki!
