Starting Friday, October 25, enhanced user verification measures will be implemented for certain types of elevated ITS Customer Support Center requests to protect your personal data and ensure that you are the person requesting these sensitive data changes. Please be aware that these new processes may include joining a Zoom call via a link provided by an agent and joining the Zoom for verification of your likeness.  

Why we’re changing  
Verification centers are increasingly being targeted, both online and over the phone, through social engineering tactics such as impersonation. These tactics aim to bypass cybersecurity measures and access sensitive personal and university data. We are taking these enhanced measures to protect your personal data and ensure that you are the person requesting these sensitive data changes.
