Speed Dialing Instructions for ITS-Supported Telephones

This document provides instructions on how to set up speed dialing for your most frequently used contacts. Instructions are provided for each of the 6 phone sets currently supported by ITS.

Avaya 9630 VoIP Phone

To speed dial a common contact using the Avaya 9630 VoIP phone, you will first need to add them to your Contacts.

  • For instructions on how to place a call to a contact, see Calling a person from the Contacts list in Chapter 5: Making A Call in the AVAYA 9630 user guide (Page 30).

Cortelco 2730

To speed dial a common contact using the Cortelco 2730 multi-feature phone, you will first need to store them in your personal directory.

  • For instructions on how to store a contact in your directory, see Storing Entries in the Using the Directory section of the Cortelco 2730 user guide (Page 19).
  • For instructions on how to call a number stored in your directory, see Dialing Directory Numbers in the Using the Directory section of the Cortelco 2730 user guide (Page 19).

Avaya 2420

To speed dial a common contact using the Avaya 2420 multi-feature phone, you will first need to store them in your directory.

  • For instructions on how to store a contact in your personal directory, see Adding Speed Dial Entries in the Managing Your Speed Dial List section of the Avaya 2420 user guide (Page 18).
  • For instructions on how to call a number stored in your personal directory, see Working in the Speed Dial Screen in the The Speed Dial Screen section of the Avaya 2420 user guide (Page 16).

Cortelco 2211

To speed dial a common contact using the Cortelco 2211 multi-feature phone, you will first need to store them in your phone’s memory.

  • For instructions on how to call a number stored in your directory, see To Dial A Phone Number in Memory in the Memory section of the Cortelco 2211 user guide (Page 8).

Coretelco 2700

To speed dial a common contact using the Cortelco 2700 multi-feature phone, you will first need to store them in your phone’s automatic memory.

ToneCommander 6220

To speed dial a common contact using the ToneCommander 6220 multi-feature phone, you will first need to store them in your call directory.
